About

My creative journey starts at the ripe age of 1, when I was handed my first building block. It then continues through legos, lincoln logs, erector sets, tinkertoys, log cabins, and the pinewood derby. I was obsessed with making.

In primary & middle school, I was exposed to music, and learned 10 different instruments, from guitar to saxaphone to trombone to the drums. Around this time, I also got involved in robotics & debate, and helped lead our middle school teams to multiple regional & state championships.

In high school, I was trained at Dallas’ nationally renowned arts school in Scenic Design. By my junior year, I had worked on 7 or 8 different shows at local theatres, and had been head designer on 3 of these. I also continued my robotics education with the Science and Engineering Magnet, but ultimately left to focus on Mock Trial, where our team was voted best in Texas & I won Best Witness at the national competition.

Now in college, I use my extensive arts & technical backround to produce designs aimed at what I believe will ultimately be the future of architecture & design — an unprecedented democratization of both design skills and fabricative ability. I focus my time and energy on developing typological solutions to big problems in the fields of sustainability and accessibility. I’m passionate about developing solutions for affordable & hyper-sustainable housing, and am a strong advocate for research into material science, digital fabrication, and AI in an architectural context.
